Nobody knew why Harlequin Monroe acted the way she did, though they suspected her past. Everyone knew her horrid experience with the hunters but, unfortunately, no one really knew how horrific it was. Some could only beginning to imagine but, fall short by several yards.
She sat atop the High Towers, using her powers for mischief once again. She'd been materializing objects and then she'd let them drop on the unsuspecting passer-by. Although, sometimes she'd levitate the object over a person's head for a moment or two before she actually drop it on them. She found the whole thing relaxing and humorous. She wasn't to cruel, or at least she thought it wasn't, all the things she dropped were soft.
She sighed, dropping thing after thing awaiting another to catch her in the act... again.

The High Towers were a place were Nathan visited often. Whether it was sitting and randomly looking out or just to get fresh air, Nathan seemed to be always there. It was one of his favorite places in the Mansion to be since he was usually allowed to be alone with his thoughts.
But today, it looked like that wasn't going to happen because as soon as he had taken the last few steps in the long winding staircase, Nathan saw the girl sitting and apparently dropping items. Nathan frowned when he saw her sitting with her back to him he instantly asked (in a slightly rude tone of voice), "Um, what are you doing?"
Usually Nathan wouldn't care about something like this, but today he was in a curious mood, so the incident would be an exception of sorts.

Startled, Harlequin fell from where she was sitting. She had been waiting for someone to catch her but, she didn't expect it to happen so soon. It often took several hours before someone came to talk to her about what she had been doing. Sure she'd nod and say she was sorry and that it wouldn't happen again but, it always did... happen again and again, that is.
Quickly scrabbling to her feet she turned and saw another elder. "I am just..." she stopped to scrape up an excuse, "practicing." Of course she was lying, it was almost expected of her to do so. She looked at him for a moment before she decide to defend herself a bit. "It isn't like I was hurting anyone. If I did then they can come find me and I will hand them a written apology," she said, teasingly.
She crossed her arms, now waiting to see what he was going to come back with. She half expected it, she always did.
